Lots of reports of this failing to autosave, and also not letting players manually save, so people are losing hours of progress. I am waiting for them to fix that before I buy it.

It's happened to me once. The autosave gets stuck and won't let you quit the game. I only lost about 20 mins which I smashed through faster the 2nd time.

I played the main part completely of the free giveaway of part 1.

The game design was dated from Part 1. Saving feature was dated. Graphics were dated. AMD did not themself a favour with those bad giveaway with their hardware in recent years.

I still have the section open to play with the girl the other story episode.

If you like retro gaming you can play this game. As any other game with similar bad visual experience and bad game design. I doubt part II will be different judging from part I and the screenshot on this website.

I´m running the PC of my specs @1440p everything in High, no FG, FSR 4 native AA and was ok for like 2 and a half hours of gameplay but started to get constant: "0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG" crashes. 9070XT on latest AMD Radeon Graphics Drivers 25.3.2 Beta. Anyone with the same issue?

I played the first one on PS3. The gfx and level design was very impressive, at least in some parts. The gameplay was also ok sometimes, but once I saw that in the stealth sections Ellie can run around carefree, when I have to mind every bloody sound, it was a big immersion breaker. Later on, that and generally simplistic gameplay design became too jarring, and I gave up maybe 30% in.

Will probably give the sequel a go one of these days, but it'd have to get heavily discounted first and in some boring release period too
